We started Morecambe Bay Chowder Co in 2021 as a family business with two goals in mind.  To serve coastal comfort food celebrating the produce of Morecambe Bay.  And to do so in a way that causes no harm to our environment.

Our menu is simple. We have perfected one dish which we call baychowder®. The signature dish is served in a bread bowl.

In April 2021, our community raised £3000 for our solar-powered catering tricycle.  We are incredibly grateful for the support!  In the lighter months your services are completely emission free.

Our tricylce is named 'Harry' after Harry Roberts MBE following a public vote.  Harry was a Commander in the Morecambe Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).  He served for 34 years saving 77 lives.  A true local legend. 

Harry's example of commmunity service inspires us everyday.  As well as supporting the RNLI in Morecambe, we care deeply about the health and nutrition of young children.  That is why if you are 4 or under you can enjoy your meal on us.

You can find us on Morecambe Promenade in the spring and summer between The Clock Tower and Eric Morecambe Statue. Also, out and about popping up in different locations across our district.
